While salt is important. It's better to have mineral ready water as most salts (even Celtic) are being found to have heavy metals

Hello Joey, for drinking you really want to use something that takes everything like an RO and then remineralises it. That is generally going to be the safest option for town water. If you are on rain water then you have a few more options as RO is unnecessary and wasteful for rain water. For your home, we don't know the US market super well but if you can get a triple whole house with a cover, that will do the trick. We hope that helps.

as it doesnt mention thiat it removes fluoride I would say no. Their website says it removes chlorine odours which is not quite the same as removing chlorine. If it does do this it should be stated less ambiguously

Unscrew the shower filter which will come apart in the middle creating 2 x halves. 2. Remove the old cartridge from the shower filter housing and throw it in the rubbish bin. Get the new replacement cartridge and insert it inside the shower filter housing. Make sure that the hollow part is facing the front housing. 3. Screw the half of the shower filter back into its original position ensuring the o-rings are seated into the correct positions. Hello Gary, Thanks for the query This water filter operates on the water pressure. If in a grid-down or off-grid situation and the water is still flowing the water filter would work as it always did. If you have water available but no pressure to push it through the filter a solar or 12 volt pump would do that task. However, if the water pressure or water flow stops, then no matter what you do there will be no water to filter. In this situation, a top-up gravity filter would be suitable or a portable filter.
